Reagan Silber Founder of Alamosa Holdings

Reagan Silber helped found and served on the board of Alamosa Holdings in 1996. Together with the wireless giant Sprint, Alamosa began the first wireless communications networks in the rural areas of the central and western United States. In this way Alamosa brought wireless service to millions of new customers in 19 states.

In 2001 Alamosa Holdings went public. Before the telecommunication bubble burst in 2002, Reagan Silber had already left the company. Several years later, in 2006, Sprint Nextel bought Alamosa for 3.4 billion dollars.
